During a minor inspection, basic components such as brakes, battery and engine are checked. The major inspection also includes comprehensive maintenance, during which all operating materials and wearing parts are checked and replaced if necessary.

Battery-powered vehicles have fewer wearing parts and therefore require less frequent servicing. Nevertheless, the steering, brakes, windshield washer system and air filter of the air conditioning system should be checked and serviced regularly.
