Wood Heating
Anyone who heats with domestic wood has hardly any impact on the climate. The CO₂ produced during combustion is recaptured, because Swiss forest law stipulates that only as much wood may be used as will grow back at the same time. In addition, pellets, logs and wood chips can be sourced locally, which promotes regional value creation and creates jobs. By choosing high-quality systems, using the right fuels and operating them correctly, air pollution from nitrogen oxides and particulate matter can be largely minimised. Piece wood heating systems are ideal for single-family homes. Pellet heating systems are suitable for single-family homes as well as smaller apartment buildings and apartment buildings. Wood chip heating systems can be used in medium to larger buildings. With all wood heating systems, there must be sufficient space for the fuel supply.
